🌿 DIY CONDITIONING HAIR GEL 🌿Â
This is a powder recipe so that you have a shelf stable product. You’ll make a batch that will get you 40-50 uses. You’ll dissolve a small amount in water for each use and leave the powder in its own separate container so that you can keep it shelf stable.Â
The flaxseed will provide hold, the slippery elm and marshmallow root will provide slip and shine, the oat and aloe will help with conditioning, and the gum will help with conditioning and thickening it to be more of a gel like consistency for applicationÂ
38% Flaxseed (ground)Â
20% Slippery elm powderÂ
15% Marshmallow root powderÂ
7% Oat powder
12% Aloe powderÂ
8% Guar gumÂ
Per Use:
Powder: 8–10 g
Water: 120–150 ml (½ cup)
Add powder to bowl and Slowly whisk in warm water. Let sit 5–10 minutes and then Stir again until a smooth gel forms. Once the gel forms  Apply to damp hair.
