Let’s talk about 🌿 infusions 🌿

One of the reasons that a lot of brands will use synthetic fragrances and colorants is to get the same consistent scent and color with every single batch. 

I don’t use these things because as you know synthetic scents and artificial colors aren’t exactly non toxic nor natural and I strive to offer clean and safe products. 

So I do plant infusions when it comes to my products and because I do use natural ingredients there can be variations to each batch. The color can be darker or lighter, the scent can be more pronounced or more subtle. 

Both of these bars are coffee soap. One is darker than the other. Both were infused with the same amount of coffee for the same amount of time. ☕️ the color variations came out different and this is all part of the process for using natural ingredients and using natural methods to obtain scent and color 

And being totally transparent with yall my infusions are often not done for scent but for the benefits these things things have for your skin. Of course we all like something to smell nice and if I can achieve both I will but I prioritize what’s going to benefit you and what’s safe for you over making sure it has a good smell. 

That said ….. I could consider coffee essential oil since the process with soap is a little different then using them neat what do you think?
